Online video ad network Tremor Media is beginning a video research initiative on the 800 sites across its network. Tremor's in-stream video ad clients include Pfizer, whose video ad for Viagra featuring celebrity physician Dr. Drew (ePharm5, 4/13/06) is featured on Tremor's Web site. In partnership with research company Dynamic Logic, Tremor will research the differences in ad effectiveness based on several different ad formats and factors, such as ad length and placement within streamed content. Tremor Media says it will use Dynamic Logic measurement across its network and suite of products, including its in-stream advertising solution, syndicated video content, viral and social media products, in-game video advertising, and video banners.
